Rent Protection Insurance from as little at £11.50 per month*

When running a successful lettings business, you’ll want to do whatever you can to reduce the risks associated with non-paying tenants and give your landlords the confidence that if the worst happens, you’re prepared. Happy landlords = retained business.
Of course, you’ve carried out specialist tenant referencing, you’re confident that the person in the property can afford the rent and you have no reason to suspect that there will be any problems during the tenancy term…however, circumstances can change.
Loss of job, relationship breakdown, rising costs and a whole array of uncontrollable factors can affect an individual’s ability to pay their rent – so why not put your landlords’ minds at ease and take out Rent Protection Insurance for these very instances?
Evicting a tenant is becoming more and more expensive, partly because the time it takes to evict a tenant through the courts process is increasing. It now takes on average four months to evict a tenant, which amounts to around £3650 in lost rent (based on an average UK rent of £912 according to the March 2018 Rentshield Direct Rental Index) in addition to the growing legal fees associated with regaining possession of a property.
